GENIALLY
Genially allows users to build everything from presentations and infographics to interactive images and quizzes, all with built-in animations and effects that make the material come alive. It’s ideal for creating content that captures attention and invites exploration, which can be especially helpful when teaching complex topics or making static content more engaging.
One of my favorite features of Genially is how easy it is to add interactive elements—like clickable hotspots, embedded videos, and pop-up text. This allows educators to present information in a layered, interactive way that encourages students to dig deeper into the material on their own. Whether it’s for history timelines, science diagrams, or geography maps, Genially makes it easy to turn any topic into an experience rather than just a slideshow.
Recently, I created an interactive image on animals using Genially. I chose different animals and added hotspots on each one that revealed information about their habitats, diets, and unique traits. Designing it was so enjoyable, and I loved watching my classmates explore each element, clicking around to discover new facts. Seeing how they interacted with the content reminded me how Genially can transform learning into an active, rather than passive, experience.
Genially isn’t just another presentation tool; it’s a way to make lessons immersive, engaging, and fun. Creating my interactive image on animals showed me how powerful visual storytelling can be in education, and I’m excited to experiment with more projects in Genially to keep learning fresh and interactive.
