FINAL REFLECTION
Looking back on everything we’ve explored in this subject, I feel like I’ve grown so much in understanding how to make learning engaging and interactive. We’ve worked with tools like Quizizz, Educaplay, and Genially, each one teaching me different ways to approach content and connect with students. Using these tools helped me realize that learning doesn’t have to be a one-way, it can be something students actively participate in and enjoy.
Quizizz was a great way to make assessments fun and competitive. Designing quizzes and seeing classmates interact with them showed me how quizzes can reinforce knowledge without feeling like a traditional test. Educaplay was another eye-opener, especially for creating games like crosswords and matching activities. It’s a tool that makes learning feel like a game, which can help students stay motivated and interested.
But Genially was probably the most memorable tool for me because it combines visuals and interactivity in such a powerful way. Creating my interactive image about animals helped me see how much more you can convey when students can explore content at their own pace. Genially made learning feel creative and open-ended, which I found really inspiring.
Overall, this subject taught me that there are so many ways to make learning interactive, creative, and fun. I learned not only how to use these tools but also how to think about teaching from a student’s perspective for understanding what makes learning enjoyable and engaging. I’m excited to carry these skills forward, knowing I can make any topic interesting by using these interactive tools. This experience has given me a new appreciation for digital learning, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it will take me next.
